For the first time ever we had snow and the kids were playing outside in it when I got out there they had built a snowman out of dirt and then covered it in snow. It looked a lot like Mr. Avery so I made them disguise it. So Jem took a sunhat from Miss Maudie and her hedge clippers. The kids were having so much fun even though there was hardly any snow.
At night I woke up and smelt smoke I woke up the kids and then helped them to put on their bath robes. I told them that there was a fire in Miss Maudies house. Everyone including me helped get her furniture out on time. Then the Firemen came and could only keep the fires in control from spreading to the other houses but Miss Maudies house was burnt to the ground. I was terrified that my kids and house would get hurt. After the fire was gone we went to bed and we I saw a blanket on Scout I asked her about it and she said that she never saw it before and that she didn’t move. After that Jem realized that it was Boo who put the blanket on Scout.
I was asked to defend a man named Tom Robinson he was accused of raping a whit girl. I know he is innocent but because he is black and there is an all white jury I don’t think he will be found innocent. For Christmas I had uncle Jack over and Scout started cussing at him. I was disappointed in her. We took Uncle Jack to the Finch’s Landing were my sister lives with her husband. And of course Alexandra has to start on Scout about her clothes and how she should dress like a girl.

I think it was a really good post, you did a good job of summarizing everything in the chapters. Your grammar still needs some work, but other than that, this was a good post.
