Chapter 2: Fire on the Mountain
Perspective: Ralph

It all started when we were discussing what to do to get off the island to be rescued when I said let’s make a fire. The second I said fire everything went wrong the kids all started running in different directions to get wood once we realized we needed matches the whole thing stopped. When Piggy got back we asked him if he had any matches but of course he didn’t have any. So someone said we can just rub two sticks together to get a flame. It started to smoke and then there was a small flame.

Soon there was a huge fire and all the kids started running to get more wood we lost track of everyone. Piggy started to talk he was saying that we have to stop the fire because it will burn down the forest. I kind of agreed with him but I thought that we had to do things that will help us get saved. But then the fire got out of hand and it was burning down everything there were 20ft. flames.

Piggy then realized that the boys who were down by the water where gone. So everyone was starting to get afraid that it was the beastie. And even worse he realized that the boy who discovered the beastie if there really is one was gone. So we started to look down by the water. We realized that he was dead. He died in the fire so I don’t know what is going to happen now that everyone knows that he died from the fire which was my idea.
